Description

The Bali Pass trek is an exhilarating trek to cross the watershed between the Yamuna and its main tributary Tons river. It traverses the confluence of Tons and Ruinsara rivers, the undisturbed serenity of the Ruinsara Valley, and the lush meadows of Devsu Thach. The trail consists of trails dug out of rock faces and wooden bridges, cut through deep dark folds in the mountain, glaciers and icy slopes, and over snowfields. Along the way, there are white Rhododendrons and an expanse of green meadows. It goes along the famous places of the Himalayas the first one being Yamunotri, the Dhaam of the Chaar Dhaam yatra. Followed by it is Har ki Doon valley then Ruinsara lake and Osla village. this pass connects Har ki Doon and Ruinsara valley. After 16,207 ft path is a bit difficult and narrow that can fit only 20-30 people. The pass offers a 360-degree view of Swargarohini, Banderpooch, and Garhwal peaks. Bali pass trek is for those who wish to hike to different and less traveled paths. Even though it is difficult it's every step is worth it. It challenges us in every way through drastically changing terrains, narrow paths, dangerous descend, long hours of walking. Of historic, religious, mountaineering, importance Bali pass trek is nothing like any other Himalayan trek. It is a walk into the unknown of the known.
